CONGRATULATIONS, LOCAL FROGS!

This photo is from earlier this season, but it shows former Temple Wildcats Jared Wiley and Quentin Johnson celebrating TCU’s success. Quentin was named offensive MVP for his role in the Horned Frogs 51-45 victory over Michigan in a NCAA national semifinal game. TCU moves on to face Georgia for the title. While Wiley and Johnson have been football superstars on the field, two other Central Texans have cheered them on. Cheerleader Alex Cipolla and TCU Show Girl Grace Fothergill, both of Belton, also are a part of the Frogs’ amazing season! And, on the sideline, former Wildcat Davion Curtis is a graduate assistant coach for the Frogs. Gotta love this Central Texas connection to the National Championship! I’m not sure who that is celebrating yesterday’s victory with Alex in the photo below, but what a great moment!
